Fall 2016 Class Schedule
I'm very excited to announce that starting this month, Vine Trainings will have a regular home for classes! The Court in the Square offers a wonderful space to learn about and enjoy wine. Located at 401 2nd Ave S in the heart of Pioneer Square, Seattle's oldest neighborhood, the space can accommodate groups ranging from a dozen all the way up to several hundred at a time.
As such, I'll be offering two core Vine Trainings classes on several dates throughout the rest of 2016. Tickets can be purchased via the Vine Trainings online store, and please contact me if you have any questions or would like to consider a private class.
Wine 101 ($40)
Wine 101 is great for wine lovers of all stripes, as we explore a range of different varietals and styles in an attempt to understand what makes them interesting and enjoyable, as well as to help each individual attendee better understand and expand their own palate. Besides tasting a number of different wines, each attendee also will receive a packet of information that will aid in wine-buying long after the class.
Washington Wine Primer ($55)
As Washington's wine industry continues to grow, evolve, and improve, staying on top of all those changes can be a challenge, even for a professional like me. Fortunately, this class is designed to get you up to speed on the history, geography, and style of our state. From the established producers to the most exciting new wineries, from classic varietals to the intriguing upstarts, this class will cover them all.
Holiday Wine Spectacular ($85)
As the holiday season arrives, it's essential to find the right wine, both to give as gifts and to serve at those special meals. The Vine Trainings Holiday Spectacular is the perfect opportunity to find wines that you'll love giving away and saving for yourself, with everything from Champagne to dessert wine and all points in between. Discounted wine will also be available for purchase and gift wrapping.
